200 mph top speed

The Sin R1 supercar has arrived at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, following a debut a few months ago at the Autosport International show.

Co-developed by Sin Cars GmbH from Munich and British supplier ProFormance Metals Ltd., the Sin R1 is a generic-looking supercar powered by a GM-sourced V8 LS3 6.2-liter engine producing 525 HP (386 kW). It works together with a Graziano manual six-speed gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.

It has a carbon composite passenger safety cell and a tubular spaceframe chassis which has allowed the vehicle to weigh just 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs) with weight being distributed 60:40. The Sin R1 should perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 2.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). The car sits on 19-inch Braid alloy wheels and has received an AP Racing brake system with 362mm font/rear discs.
